The royal castle of Amboise is the first Renaissance château in France. About 500 years ago, the French Royal court settled here as Paris was too rebellious! The 25% remaining of the castle is worth it: Charles VIIIthe and Francis 1st's ales: gothic and Renaissance, royal appartments, Great meeting room, music and dining rooms...St Hubert's chapel where the remainings of Leonardo da Vinci are conserved under a marble stone, the 2 horse-riding towers and a wonderful view above the Loire Valley!
