Balwinder PRABHAKAR de Bois Juzan

My name is Balwinder and I was born in the heart of India in Jabalpur where my father was stationed at the Army
Cantonnement as an officer.

Growing up in India in my childhood was moving to different towns where my father would be stationed during his
service in the Indian Army and surely this is the reason for my love for travelling and discovering new places.
After obtaining my licence in History Honours from the University of New Delhi, I wanted to study further.

I rejected the idea of an "arranged marriage", being married off to someone I did not know. I wanted to choose my own
life, my own future, to travel and learn about the world.

I convinced my father to give me a year to do what I wanted, which was to learn French  in Paris.

The rest is history. I met my French husband and stayed on. Paris is my home since 40 years.
We have a daughter who is 36 years old (how time flies!). I have embraced the values of the French culture and
tradition through my life choices.

My passion for History and travels led me naturally to study art history and to obtain my National
French Guide license from the University of Marne la Vallée.

Today I am passionate about my job and I am look forward to each new tour. I love sharing my city’s
secrets, cultures, lifestyle,monuments. I travel all over France for my tours. 
One of my favourite tours is the castles of the Loire valley with its fairytale castles, history, intrigues,gastronomy.

I look forward to showing you France and the French who believe me are wondeful people!
