The late 19 century is a period of changes, a period of prosperity in France. A revolution in art was forming: Barbizon school, Realism, Impressionism. . . It is an important step before modern art. Let me tell you the stories of the artists and their relationships which are as interesting as their work. 

We will see the following artists' work: 
- Millet, Ingres, Courbet, Couture, Manet. . . 
- Impressionist: Monet, Sisley, Caillebotte, Renoir, Pissarro, Morisot, Degas - Carpeaux, Cézanne. . . 
- The post-impressionist: Van Gogh and Gauguin.

 Orsay museum is closed on Monday. No guided tour on Sunday and public holidays.

The visit of Orsay Museum can be completed with a half day visit of Auvers-sur-Oise, the last residence of Van Gogh and where he painted the Auvers-sur-Oise church. Please contact me for quote if interested.
